Sales Manager OEM

Your main goals

Ensuring commercial success with (small Peristaltic) OEM pumps both directly and through the Verder Distribution channel. OEM is defined as: small pumps that come from the Microdos factory in Rieti (Italy) that are built in as part of standard machinery and ordered in high volumes.

Key Account Management (in collaboration with the Verder Distribution partners) on a European basis: pro-actively defining the contact strategy and approaching key customers directly in sectors like dishwashing machines, pool&spa and vending machines.

Motivating and aligning the Verder distribution channel to ensure their cooperation in providing local contacts/knowledge and languages assistance.

Your main tasks

  • Initiating marketing campaigns needed to promote Verder’s OEM proposition.
  • Visiting OEM customers throughout (mainly but not limited to Europe).
  • Collecting, analysing, disseminating of specific product-market-competitor and customer information.
  • Ensuring a high quality, up to date marketing collateral (Website, brochures, technosheets, apps etc.).
  • Technically and commercially supporting the Verder distribution network to enable joint success at OEM customers throughout (mainly) Europe.
  • Analysing, determining and implementing pricing strategy and tactics.
  • Organising, initiating of  product training locally as well as online (Verder University).

You are

  • Finished degree in higher technical education like mechanical engineering, or electrotechnical, environmental technology, process or chemical technology. Preferably augmented with a business degree or commercial experience.
  • Speak English and Italian fluently, Dutch is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an international Product Manager or Sales Manager role, preferably in a technical OEM (pump) environment.
  • Commercially savvy, technically oriented, problem solving with a “can do” attitude.
  • Pro-active, innovative and have proven ability to influence teams without formal authority.
  • Strong communicator and you like to travel for your work.

Verder Liquids division, headquarters is located in Vleuten, is a supplier of an extensive range of positive displacement pumps. Verder pumps are able to transfer all kinds of liquids in many industries such as chemical industry, process industry, food, pharmaceutical industry and water treatment. Verder Liquids BV is a division of 28 companies (40 BU’s) in 19 different countries. Most of them are located in Europe, but we are also present in the US, South Africa, China and India.
